T1S, previously TerreformOne, is a non-profit research group dedicated to future design. By bringing together interdisciplinary experts, T1S develops functional and imaginative solutions to tackle the wicked problems of tomorrow.
To reflect T1S's biomorphic and technology-driven approach to architecture, the organization's identity system is designed to be lively and dynamic. The bespoke typeface draws inspiration from the blueprint, a fundamental element of all architecture. However, the typeface's organic curvatures combined with motion convey a sense of liveliness, capturing T1S's energetic approach to future design.
The customized kinetic type generator is an integral part of the identity system, emphasizing T1S's commitment to creating new forms. With different inputs, the generator produces a variety of outputs, reflecting the organization's creativity and adaptability. Additionally, T1S's image treatment is streamlined through the use of a customized imagery generator, which offers 2D and 3D rasterization options. This feature captures T1S's spirit of future probing, bringing a dynamic visual element to the organization's utopian projects.
Bespoke monograms are crafted for each T1S projects.
